Swim lessons begin!

So Makayla will be taking a few city rec classes over the summer with swimming being one of them. This is her first time in official swim lessons. We have known for a few years that she is going to be a water kid. Today was her first class, and I signed her up for the class with only 3 kids in it. They will have this class for the next 2 weeks every day for 30 minutes. She has 2 boys in the class with her. I was cracking up because when it was time for them to get in with the instructor, Makayla, of course went right away no problem, but the 2 boys began to cry and actually refused to get in the water the whole class. So Makayla is already outshining the boys...that's the way we girls roll! She worked a little on sticking her face in the water, blowing bubbles in the water, and floating both on her stomach & back. The thing I am NOT looking forward to is the heat...I was already sweating out there today, and it was only 90...can't wait until it's 110! lol
