Heaven

My parents were supposed to be going on a trip to Oregon, so my mom asked me if I could mail a package to my grandma.  I was telling Makayla that we had to go to the post office so I could mail something to my grandma.  I explained to her that just as Grandma Petrey & Zook were her grandma's, I had a grandma too.  My grandma was her great grandma.  She looked a little confused.  Then she said, "Do you have a Papa too?"  I replied, "Yes, I had 2, but both of them are in Heaven."  She then asked me, "What is Heaven?"  So I explained to her in the best 3 year old terms I could think of that Heaven is the place where Jesus lives....that people who believe in God and live their life following Him go to live at for eternity.  I don't think she quite got the concept, but it was awesome to hear her wonder about Heaven.  That is my prayer for you, Makayla, that you will one day realize your need for God and all He has done for you...and that you will bring Him into your life and live out your days serving Him.  I love you, baby girl!
