Well, Makayla can tell them apart and shocked both Daddy & I tonight! We asked her several times which one was Bentley & which one was Max. I had even asked her earlier in the day. She got it right every time with no hesitation! The dogs even moved around the room and exchanged spots. It was amazing!! Even Grandma Zook always mixes the two of them up! What a smart little girl we have! We hadn't even been working with her on this. She picked this up completely on her own! She loves her doggies! She loves to play ball with Max, and she loves to pet both of them. It's so cute!!!!
The other thing she has been doing lately that I forgot to mention in an earlier post is saying, "Uh oh." Her little voice just makes my heart smile!
Well, it's late so I better get to bed...it might be a long night...we have some MAJOR teething going on right now so she keeps waking up crying. I just gave her some Motrin and sang her back to "resting" before putting her back in her crib. I told Barry that even though her teething took all my free time tonight, it is so worth it. These moments I get to hold her...rock her...sing hymns to her...are few & far between as she is great at putting herself to sleep. These moments are fleeting as time speeds forward. When these moments happen, Makayla, I just look at you in my arms and THANK GOD for entrusting you to our love & care. I also pray for Daddy & Mommy that God will continue to bless our marriage & keep it strong & alive & grounded on Him. I pray that God will continue to lead us in the way He wants us to raise & parent you. I also spend a lot of time praying for you. I pray for your health. I pray for choices in life that you will face. I pray for your future boyfriends and especially husband. I pray that God will just surround you with His grace & mercy and guide you down a path that will lead you closer to Him. I love you!!
