Back in March we were in Florida for a week visiting Barry's family which is always a nice vacation! I mean, c'mon, it's FLORIDA!!! Tomorrow we leave for our "normal" summer vacation to our FAVORITE California! We will be in Oceanside which is a little north of San Diego for a full week! The dogs are already at my parents house keeping their house loud with their barking. :-) They get like 2-3 walks a day when they stay over there so they LOVE it!!! We have a condo that walks right onto the boardwalk & sand. I can't wait!!!! We are praying for a good car trip with Makayla. Last year when we went to Ventura, CA, Grandma Zook went with us & helped entertain a then almost 3 month old. We are on our own this time!
As for Miss Makayla, she is teething something fierce right now which isn't helping us in our quest for her to drink more fluids. We are living on Ibuprofin and PRAYER...not in that order. We've had a few bad days again. Today she's only had 13 oz...not good! Hopefully she'll gulp down a ton for bedtime, but I highly doubt it. Well, enough chit-chatting, as I need to finish packing things up. I sure hope we can fit everything into our small Vibe! The stroller & the Pack-n-Play take up most of the car!
