Weight & Eating Issues

So for the second week in a row, our beautiful Makayla has lost some weight. This is our ongoing battle that just never seems to end! A few weeks ago she was 18lbs 2oz. Now she weight 17lbs 13oz at 13 1/2 months of age. She is just not eating well like she used to. Barry & I both feel that her GERD medicine is not working...even after they have doubled her dosing. She now takes 30mg of Prevacid in the morning and 3ml of Zantac at night. We are VERY frustrated with her GI right now as they feel she needs to see a feeding therapist first before they switch any medications. I talked to a feeding therapist, and she told me we need to get her GI issues figured out first or the therapy won't accomplish anything. Well, our appointment is not for a few more weeks with the therapist. I have been dealing with this now for 5 long weeks! Why won't someone help us!!! Barry and I decided today to just go to our Peditrician this week (as we love him) and see if he will give us the medicine she needs. This new medicine is most likely Nexium. We are about done with our GI. We really don't need to see them anyway since she only has GERD and a milk allergy. Hopefully we can get some solutions this week so our Pumpkin doesn't keep losing weight.
