Babies In Motion

Well, this morning I took Makayla to a Babies-In-Motion class offered through the city. There were 5 other kids a little older than her. All of them were walking except Makayla. She has taken a few steps, and she will walk if you hold her hand. It's only a matter of time now. We sang some songs and danced to some music. We also had play time with bouncy balls, musical instruments (bells), and hula hoops. She was very timid. I don't think she knew what was going on or what she was supposed to do. It was interesting to watch her. A few kids stole a ball she had in her hands. She didn't cry or anything though. That is to be expected at this age as everyone is beginning to learn how to share. She is so precious, and I just love her so very much. We have this class every Wednesday morning so we shall see how she develops. Her & I are also suffering from allergies right now, so I don't think she felt too good. Overall though, I think she had fun. This class is a new experience since she isn't in daycare. I wonder if she's this quiet & timid in the church nursery...hmmm....well, now we're off to my Rheumatology appointment for my normal check-up I get every 8 weeks.
