Splash park fun

We finally took Makayla to a splash park...San Tan Village. We went on Saturday, July 3rd, and there weren't very many kids...which was good for our timid little girl. She stood near us for awhile very unsure as to what was going on or what she was supposed to do. Barry then walked her out to feel the water. She would be there a few seconds and then run back saying, "Mommy! Mommy!" lol We kept telling her to go out there & get wet. She finally did. By the end, she was getting drenched. There was one older girl who was a big bully and kept pushing Makayla out of the way or covering up the spout that Makayla was playing in. I was getting soooooo mad as the mother wasn't saying anything! I finally spoke up...Barry and I don't fault the kid as kids will be kids, but it's the parents fault who don't correct. I'm so thankful Barry & I could experience this first together...it was precious! I'm sure I will be taking her back over there as the summer heat continues. The great part about this park is it's covered. I have so many pictures & videos...hmmm...now to pick the best ones!
