It's probably been a few weeks now that the paci is no more. She started chewing them (I'm sure due to teething) and chunks would be missing. So the paci went bye bye. Now Makayla only had the paci when she slept for her naps or bedtime and that's it! For a week, she did good without it. She constantly asks about it, but she still slept. This past week she has NOT been napping for me. Makayla loves to sleep and regularly sleeps 3 hours for her afternoon nap. I don't know what is going on, but I'm not digging it. I'm sure it's just a glitch and hopefully she'll return to herself as Mama needs those naps! HAHA! Thankfully, the past 2 days she has napped so maybe the madness is over...
So here is her paci routine we now go through many times a day & several times in a row...
Makayla: Paci?
Mama: Nope.
Makayla: Chew?
Mama: Yes, you chewed it.
Makayla: All gone.
Mama: Yep, all gone.
Makayla: Happen?
Mama: Yes, that's what happened.
Makayla: Bye Bye.
Mama: Bye Bye.
