Well, here I am once again...behind on my blogging...this work thing is getting in the way! :-)
Barry's parents were here a for 2 weeks at the end of September/beginning of October. We had such a fun time! I was soooo excited for them to see my baby and all the changes she has made since they last saw her. The 2 common themes I heard from them were: 1.) She is a busy little girl and 2.) She has a lot of energy HAHA! Both are very true statements. The first night they got here Makayla put on a show for them showing all her "tricks." Of course this was all followed by a round of applause which made her want to do more. I'm so thankful that she has 2 sets of amazing grandparents! We are blessed!!!
Life turned back to our normal routine right away. I thought there might be an adjustment period for her, but I guess she knew (?) they were gone. So for me, this week was a very busy week at work for me. I had mid-season testing going on and nutritional journals due for both teams. It means a lot of late nights coming to grade and do stats. The boys team has really been frustrating me lately to the point I don't want them anymore. That has never happened...I hope attitudes and work ethics change soon before I lose my mind!
Barry's been able to take several days of vacation. We didn't go anywhere, but it sure has been nice to have him home!
