Just as we start to make some progress, the teething gets worse and interferes with the progress. I plan to weigh Makayla tomorrow, but I would be surprised if she gained any weight. The last several days have been a HUGE struggle to get her to drink more than 12 oz for the entire day. The docs want us to get in around 30 oz a day...although I think they have about given up on that idea. :-/ She has her top front 4 and bottom front 4 teeth already in. She's just having a really hard time with these bigger teeth. She's not sleeping well. Last night she woke up whimpering about every 1 1/2 hours. Poor girl. Hopefully this will taper off soon!!
I am blessed that many of my co-workers in the fitness center are coming to my rescue to help cover my Monday night shift. This way I can be home to feed her dinner as she usually drinks her milk better for me than my parents...we still can't figure out why as she never had a problem before. I am still teaching my 2 classes this semester on MWF, but I only miss her lunch feeding. Next semester I will be down to one class so I will have even more time with her.
Tonight she climbed on the love seat all by herself!!! We were all eating dinner, and Makayla was playing in the family room. I looked up to see her head pop up on the love seat!!! She had the biggest smile on her face. She was so proud of herself. We were so proud of her. My baby is growing up & growing up FAST!! It makes me a little nervous though as she has no fear on the couch. I have to watch her like a hawk since she can now get up there on her own.
